The CP system consist of automatic equipment for centralized power factor correction of loads.

The total power of each equipment is divided in several banks which are managed by reactive power factor relay. The latter of these, sensitive to variations in the reactive power, connects or diconnects the banks thereby maintaining the power factor of the system at the desired value.

Centralized power factor correction of the loads is the optimum solution for the problem of low power factor.

The unit should be equiment with either fuses or a magnetothermic breaker at the beginning of the power supply line in order to protect the system. In addition, an earth fault protection should be provided on the system to be corrected.

Central Series CP5 - CP40 The power range goes from 5 to 125 kvar at 440 V, it is wall mounted and is designed to be used where low power is utilized (restaurants, factories, condominiums, etc.)
Central Series CP55 - CP125 The power range goes from 55 to 400 kvar at 440 V, it is floor mounted and is designed to be used where medium power is utilized (petrol stations, buildings, toll stations, etc.)
Central Series CP150 - CP600 The power range goes from 150 to 600 kvar at 440 V, it is floor mounted and is designed to be used where higher power is utilized (factories, universities, hotels, etc.)
