Moulded Case Circuit Breakers

The highest priority for the moulded case circuit breaker (MCCBs) and earth leakage circuit breakers (ELCBs) employed in power distribution control system is to provide sure, safe protection for connected equipment against short-circuit or earth leakage.

Fuji Electric has led the industry with the TWIN Breakers (30 to 800AF), same –size MCCBs and ELCBs.

Hwa Shih
Moulded Case Circuit Breakers

Application
The Hwa Shih NF series is designed to protect systems against overload and short circuits. They are suitable for protection in thse areas: individual encloures, switchboards, lighting & power panels and motor-control centres.

Mechanism
The Hwa Shih NF series is designed to be trip-free and this occurs when the breaker contacts open under short circuit and overload conditions. To avoid single phasing, if a short cirucuit or overload occur on any one phase, a common trip mechanism will disconnect all phase contacts of a multi-pole breaker.

Material
The Hwa Shih NF casing is made of BMC, a highly unbreakable material and with a very strong dielectric strength, ensures the highest level of protection and insulation.

Accessories
Standard features include a trip button and an automatic tripping device. To further enhance the NF series, these accessories can be fitted onto the breaker:

  • Auxiliary switch
  • Alarm switch
  • Shunt release
  • Undervoltage trip

International Standards
The Hwa Shih NF series conform and meet the requirements of the following international governing bodies:

  • BS EN60947-2 from British Standards
  • BT/T14048-2 from China
  • IEC 60947-2 from the International Electrotechnical Committee
  • NEMA AB-1 from American Standards
